This drawing was created from a work platform off the Kosciuszko Bridge in NYC the last summer of the World Trade Center towers' existence. It is reproduced here at the exact size as the original illustration. It's quick black lines are set against a contrasting orange splash reflective of the light of dusk that day.

Says Gran of his piece: "I was there with my boy Jimmy Dowd who thought it would be a good idea as a graphic for some tees and eventually (skateboard) decks... it did and still does. ...I think it was a great time to be alive... That calm before the storm of our post-911 world. I look at that drawing, it takes me back, and makes me feel better in the here and now."
